This case study presents the UX/UI design of a custom e-commerce website for FK Crvena Zvezda, one of the most iconic and recognizable football clubs in the region. The objective of the project was to design a high-quality, conversion-focused online shopping experience that reflects the club’s strong identity while delivering a seamless and intuitive user journey across all devices.

UX Strategy & Research
The project began with an in-depth UX analysis and competitive benchmarking of leading football club e-commerce websites.
This research helped identify common usability pain points and best practices within sports merchandising platforms. Insights from this phase revealed that users expect immediate access to featured products, clear categorization, strong visual presentation, and a fast checkout process.
Based on these findings, the UX strategy focused on clarity, speed, and confidence-building elements, ensuring users always understand where they are in the shopping journey and what action to take next.
Design Approach
The design approach focused on creating a cohesive, end-to-end e-commerce experience rather than treating individual pages in isolation.
Layouts, components, and interactions were designed as part of a unified system, allowing users to move seamlessly between browsing, product evaluation, and checkout.
Special attention was given to visual hierarchy, spacing, and consistency, ensuring the interface feels calm and intuitive even when presenting large product catalogs. The experience was designed mobile-first, with layouts and interactions optimized for smaller screens without sacrificing clarity or functionality.
